History

History

Strasbourg Bible Camp was established in 1938 as a ministry of several Plymouth Brethren
churches in Saskatchewan with a vision to provide a Christian training and recreation facility.
After many years of success and growth, the camp was moved to its current site in 1972: one
mile north of Rowan’s Ravine Provincial Park on the east shore of Last Mountain Lake.

In 2019, Strasbourg Bible Camp merged with Deeper Life Ministries. We had a beautiful
partnership that helped SBC make it through the COVID years, and gave Deeper Life a place to
launch and establish their vibrant prayer and worship ministry.

In 2023, the Lord asked us to establish ourselves once again as two separate ministries. As part
of that process, we have established new vision, mission and goals.
